in Groen Brothers Aviation, Inc. (GBA) and our aircraft. Although
emphasis over the last few issues has dealt primarily with the progress
and success of the SparrowHawk, GBA continues to promote the use
of our Hawk 4 Homeland Defenderô Gyroplane in governmental (Public
Use Market) applications. Our Gyrodyne concept aircraft continues
to be a topic in the aviation media and has drawn interest from
the aerospace industry both here and abroad. You can be automatically

Filming completed for new SparrowHawk kit built and APV videos. |
SPARROWHAWK FILMING RECENTLY COMPLETED
Jerry Day Productions of Burbank recently completed filming
of the SparrowHawk at GBA Flight Operations in Buckeye, AZ. The footage
will be used in the making of two new SparrowHawk films. One will
showcase the SparrowHawk APVís (Aerial Patrol Vehicle) potential in
governmental applications such as law enforcement, border patrol and
homeland security. Another film will focus on sales into the aviation
kit built market. "TACTICAL
TO PRACTICAL" SHOWCASES HAWK 4 & SPARROW HAWK
Show host Hunter Ellis and the "Tactical to Practical"
crew visited GBA Flight Operations in Buckeye, AZ a few months back.
The result of their efforts recently appeared on the History Channelís
popular show in a segment on Experimental Aircraft. Hunter Ellis
flew in both the turbine powered Hawk 4 and our kit-built SparrowHawk
gyroplane, and it was hard to tell which he enjoyed more! The show
mentioned the safety advantages and stability of our aircraft, but
what showed through loud and clear was how much fun they are to
fly. The "Tactical" side of the segment told of the WWII
German U-Boatís use of gyrogliders for reconnaissance, and how that
led to the first kit built gyroplane, Igor Bensenís "Bensen
Gyrocopter."

PROVIDES FLIGHT TRAINING FOR FAA INSPECTORS
GBA has begun flight training of FAA Inspectors under a
year long contract. The contract calls for us to train up to 6 FAA
inspectors in Light Sport Aircraft Gyroplanes. The Inspectors train
for Commercial and CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) rotorcraft
gyroplane ratings. Training typically takes around 3 weeks. GBA
has also received a blanket purchase order from the FAA Western
Pacific Region to provide update and make/model gyroplane training
from Oct 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005.

DEALERS MAKE PROGRESS
Congratulations to Seattle SparrowHawk Dealer Randy Coplen!
He has completed and is flying his SparrowHawk. It will soon join
his SparrowHawk prototype on the flight line for gyroplane training.
We are all excited about 2005. It looks to be a banner year as many
of our dealers complete their aircraft and are able to offer flight
training and builder assist programs at their local airport facilities.

Our
dealerís talent and creativity really shows through in the quality
and care they put into their beautiful aircraft. Randy Coplenís
